Anesthesia & You

Anesthesiology is the practice of medicine dedicated to the relief of pain and total care of the surgical patient before, during and after surgery.

The Memorial Healthcare anesthesia team keeps pace with their expanding role in offering the highest quality health care available anywhere in the world. In addition to medical school training, anesthesia physicians complete a four-year anesthesiology residency training program and or  fellowships in an anesthesia subspecialty.  At Memorial, our surgical team is also assisted by a highly skilled team of nurse anesthetists.

Anesthesia services include care of patients in surgery, labor and delivery and pain management.
