Memorial Healthcare is pleased to announce Peggy Cummings, Public Safety Associate in the Public Safety Department, as our September Employee of the Month. Peggy has been an employee at Memorial Healthcare since 2015.
According to her winning nomination, “Peggy is a ray of sunshine and the first face that all patients, employees and guests see when they enter the hospital. She is consistently positive and upbeat, takes her job very seriously and always has her department’s best interest in mind. Peggy displays outstanding customer service by going the extra mile to help visitors over and above what is expected of the job and shows compassion to everyone she interacts with.”
Peggy lives in Owosso and is happily married with three sons and two stepsons. Her first job at Memorial Healthcare was in the housekeeping department. Peggy enjoys kayaking, walking, camping and spending time with family. Her special achievement is she ran track and field in high school and continues to run marathons in her spare time. Peggy would like to be remembered as someone who is always honest and cheerful.
