(Thursday, April 27, 2023 – Owosso, MI) – At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government declared a Public Health Emergency (PHE), allowing Medicaid members to keep their health care coverage. Per recent federal legislation, eligibility renewals will start again in June 2023. Monthly renewal notifications began to be mailed to members in May 2023. It is extremely important to complete your renewal form – if you don’t, you may lose your Medicaid eligibility.

You can follow these steps to help determine if you still qualify:

• Make sure your contact information is up to date
• Check your mail or text messages for a letter
• Complete any renewal forms received
