Tyler Yaklin, MBA, BSN, RN Named Chief Nursing Officer/Associate VP of Patient Care Services

Memorial Healthcare is pleased to announce the promotion of Shiawassee County resident Tyler Yaklin, MBA, BSN, RN, to Chief Nursing Officer/Associate Vice President of Patient Care Services. Tyler has served on an interim basis in this role since November 29, 2021.

“Nursing has always been part of my life; I was raised by a nurse,” said Yaklin. “Being a nurse and compassionately caring for individuals, whether professionally or personally, is what I love to do. For more than 10 years, I have had the pleasure of working with the amazing nursing staff at Memorial and have witnessed countless exceptional moments, I am honored that I get to continue this work. I am extremely fortunate and proud to be part of the Memorial Healthcare family and am privileged to serve our staff and the community.”

Tyler has been with Memorial Healthcare since 2012, when he began as a Nursing Supervisor and House Float Registered Nurse, until 2015, when he accepted the Emergency Department Manager role. In January 2019, he was named Director of Patient Care Services.

Tyler holds a Master of Business Administration and Healthcare Management degree from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree from Crystal M. Lange College of Nursing at Saginaw Valley State University.
