Chances are you or a loved one has been cared for by Memorial Healthcare.
For over 100 years, Memorial Healthcare’s community-based mission to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare in our region has been our foundation. As always, we continue to care for individuals, families, and communities through our commitment to service excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
Today, our care extends throughout seven counties in mid-Michigan with nearly 500 medical staff providers and over 1,500 nursing, medical, and other professionals. Aided by the latest science and technology, in 2022, Memorial Healthcare cared for 3,736 inpatient patients, 258,385 outpatient visits, and treated 27,356 Emergency Department patients.
Throughout the last century, the support of our community has been instrumental in ensuring Memorial Healthcare remained an independent, non-profit organization. As set forth by our founders in 1921, Memorial Healthcare continues to be governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.
In December 2022, Memorial Healthcare was recognized as one of the nation’s leading hospitals for maternity care by US News & World Report, ranking us in the top 20% of Michigan hospitals to receive a “high performing” score, the highest rating possible.
In January 2023, we were also recognized by the 2023 Women’s Choice Awards in two categories: Best Hospitals in Emergency Care and Best Hospitals for Mammogram Imaging. Our recognition in the Emergency Care category places Memorial Healthcare in the top 1% of the 4,729 hospitals considered. Additionally, our mammography imaging places us in the top 10% of eligible hospitals.
Generations of families have placed their trust in Memorial Healthcare and we look forward to providing you with the highest level of health care for the next 100 years.
