Chances are you or a loved one has been cared for by Memorial Healthcare.
For 100 years, Memorial Healthcare’s community-based mission to provide high quality, compassionate healthcare in our region has been our foundation. As always, we continue to care for individuals, families, and communities through our commitment to service excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
Today, our care extends throughout seven counties in mid-Michigan with more than 300 medical staff providers and over 1,500 nursing, medical, and other professionals. Aided by the latest science and technology, in 2020, Memorial Healthcare cared for over 3,600 inpatients, nearly 240,000 outpatients, and treated 20, 331 Emergency Department patients.
Throughout the last century, the support of our community has been instrumental in ensuring Memorial Healthcare remained an independent, non-profit organization. As set forth by our founders in 1921, Memorial Healthcare continues to be governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.
In 2021 we earned coveted 5-star recognition from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), as well as continued recognition — for the fifth time in a row — as an “A” Leapfrog Hospital. These accolades place Memorial Healthcare as just 1 of 10 hospitals in the State of Michigan to obtain these quality and safety recognitions and the only hospital within 50-miles of Owosso to do so.
Throughout the next year we will honor the past, celebrate the present, and lead Memorial Healthcare into the future with a continued focus on the high-quality, compassionate care you’ve come to expect. Generations of families have placed their trust in Memorial Healthcare and we look forward to providing you with the highest level of health care for the next 100 years.
