Memorial Healthcare Hospice will offer a free volunteer training course for individuals 18 and older on November 15 and 16, 2022. The course will run from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Hospice office located at 1637 W. Main Street in Owosso. This course will offer the opportunity to learn what hospice is and many other skills including sensitive communication, infection control, grief and bereavement, and the role of each hospice member involved. Volunteers will meet with hospice team members to learn each role and the importance it plays for patients and family members utilizing the hospice program.
