The Role of Acute Care Prescribing in the Opioid Epidemic

This event, sponsored by the Memorial Healthcare Medical Staff and Shiawassee Physicians Organization, will welcome Dr. Chad Brummett, Co-Director of Michigan OPEN and Associate Professor of the Division of Pain Research (Department of Anesthesiology), who will speak on the role of acute care prescribing in the opioid epidemic. The target audience is Memorial Healthcare Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers, and local providers in Shiawassee County including dentists. The event will be held on Memorial’s main campus in the auditorium.
CME credits will be available via Central Michigan University.
