Gulick Nursing Scholarship

The Annual Peggy Gulick Nursing Scholarship was established in honor of Peggy Gulick, former President & CEO of Memorial, for her many years of dedication and commitment to the nursing profession and Memorial Healthcare. 

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage deserving applicants to pursue studies in the field of nursing and to encourage these individuals to seek employment at Memorial Healthcare upon graduation.

This $2,500 scholarship is awarded to assist with tuition and book expenses and is paid directly to the educational institution.

In addition to other eligibility criteria, applicants must already be accepted into a nursing program before being considered for a scholarship. 

 

High School Senior Scholarship

Status: Closed

In 2018, Memorial Healthcare Foundation will offer three scholarships to area high school seniors who are going to pursue a degree leading to a career in health care.

The $1,000 scholarships are being offered to seniors who attend high schools or are home-schooled within the Memorial Healthcare service area. Applicants must be pursuing enrollment in a health care related program at an accredited education institution. Both Associate and Bachelor Degree programs are considered.

The criteria for selection of recipients include academic performance, community and school involvement, special skills and interestes, an essay on personal goals and aspirations and a personal interview. The selection process is without regard to race, religion, gender, national origin, or financial need. 

Applicants will be notified in early May as to whether or nor they have been selected to receive the scholarship.
