Memorial Healthcare Welcomes new Endocrinologist Dr. Mohammad Daoud, MD

Schooled at the Jordan University School of Medicine, Dr. Daoud has served as the consultant Endocrinologist at the King Abdulaziz Medical City (NGHA) in Jeddah. He has held regular speaking engagements on Diabetes and Endocrinology, both at the departmental and hospital levels, and participated in World Diabetes Day as a guest lecturer and workshop leader on Diabetic Medicine.

Daoud participates quarterly in the Diabetes Care Course, a Diabetes Education in Jordan’s Eastern Province and other regions, as a lecturer and practicum. (These events are for ongoing training of General Practitioners and Family Physicians, Diabetes educators, Dieticians and Nurses. His topics have included standards of care, Diabetic Medicine guidelines, inpatient and outpatient management, the initiation of Insulin, management of Comorbidities with DM (HTN and Dysplipidemia).

He has recently lectured during the Thyroid Diseases Symposium and Workshops, and is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr. Mohammad Daoud brings with him a host of experience, and is recognized as an Endocrine authority. Upon his arrival at Memorial Healthcare, Dr. Daoud will work to expand the Memorial Healthcare Diabetes Service line, and serve as an on-staff Endocrinologist (the first at Memorial.)
