Memorial to Invest in New Electronic Health Record

June 20, 2018

Memorial Healthcare recently signed an agreement to bring Expanse, MEDITECH’s progressive Electronic Health Record (EHR) to its IT platform.

“We have conducted a tremendous amount of due diligence reviewing platforms and many different implementation approaches,” said Tom Kurtz, Ph.D., VP of Information Services and CIO. “Our focus has been on a solution that provides a single medical record across all care settings, better visibility of our data and performance, and an improved physician and clinical experience.”

“MEDITECH is pleased to continue our longstanding relationship with Memorial Healthcare,” said Helen Waters, executive vice president at MEDITECH. “We’re proud to be the EHR vendor of choice for so many of our customers and value their longevity and partnership. We look forward to helping Memorial Healthcare achieve a higher level of productivity and integration with the use Expanse.”

Implementation of Expanse will begin summer 2018 and will culminate with a mid-year 2019 go-live date.
