Dr. Anthony Brune joins the world-class team of neurology specialists at the Institute for Neuroscience at Memorial Healthcare. Dr. Brune is one of just a very few neurologists holding dual fellowships in Vestibular Neurology and Neuro-ophthalmology. During his training, he received awards for teaching and clinical excellence. He has published peer-reviewed case studies, academic review articles, and book chapters on topics related to neuro-ophthalmology, eye movements, and dizziness. He has also presented at several regional, national, and international conferences. He strives to bring excellent care to patients suffering from dizziness or neurologic conditions affecting vision or eye movements.
Memorial Healthcare Institute of Neuroscience is a department of Memorial Medical Associates, an outpatient department of Memorial Healthcare.

This was the 2nd time I visited Dr. Brune and got the impression that he's really not interested in my care. I've left 2x now feeling like I wasted my money taking off work and driving to Owosso and/or having to get a ride, then to leave with the same questions I've had since day 1. I don't care to be medicated, I care about what's going on in my body. I also don't have the means to be able to take off a lot of work or to get to Owosso as easily as I think Dr Brune would like. I felt as if I had offended or did something wrong... He walked in the room with annoyance all over him. He cut his eyes at my daughter, as if, she wasn't supposed to be there. Then he down played my symptoms... Told me I doubt it's grown but we'll do another MRI if u want.... Then said something about being fatigued..... I am FAR From Fatigued... I am literally exhausted. So, I walked away again not knowing if this is Chiari Malformation or cancer.... Like seriously...Then the pain in my lower back is Sciatica Nerve pain that affects me just as much as my headaches and Neck.... But he's not even interested in listening to that.
3 weeks after appt and I'm still waiting for the Dr to sign off on transcribe notes. A bit ridiculous, actually. Also still waiting for MRI referral as was discussed. Sent a message in portal days ago, still awaiting a response.
My favorite dr out of all my specialists!
He was rude and impatient. He didn't want to answer any of my questions and had no insight on a plan what so ever. I switched doctors already I won't drive an hour and a half for someone who is rushing rude and had no answers to any of my concerns
Showed no empathy for my health problems and concerns. Do not plan to go back to this physician. Was made to feel horrible and as If I was making up my health problems.

Dr. Brune was very thorough. He took the time to explain things to me completely and made sure I understood.
Doesn't always listen to the patient and makes decisions without the day of the patient. Put me on medicine that does not help and I told him that, yet he still wanted me on it and I've been on it before. It does not work for me!
The doctor is clearly very knowledgeable, but I found his advice to be very condescending as if I was causing my own symptoms.
I worked in medical field at a hospital and worked directly with many doctors over 15 years. I'm here to tell you Dr Brune is the the nicest doctor I have ever met. He took time, listened and explained everything so I totally understood my condition. Absolutely best doctor ever.
