Accreditation & Certifications
The Joint Commission
The Joint Commission has been accrediting hospitals for more than 50 years. Its accreditation is a nationwide seal of approval that indicates a hospital meets high performance standards. Accreditation helps hospitals improve performance and raise the level of patient care. Memorial Healthcare is accredited by the Joint Commission.

American College of Surgeons
The Memorial Cancer Center is nationally recognition from the American College of Surgeons. The Cancer Center recently received a 3-year accreditation with commendation.
Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
Mammography services at Memorial Healthcare are supported by a team of board certified radiologists who work closely with certified mammography technicians. Our services are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation.
Our laboratory is licensed by the Michigan Department of Community Health and accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The lab also provides remote computer access to test results enabling real-time availability to important clinical information.
With a goal of life-long information and instruction, the Memorial Diabetes Education program is certified by the Michigan Department of Community Health and is recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting national standards of excellence.
Memorial Healthcare’s Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the gold standard by which the public can evaluate services provided by a sleep center.
Memorial Home Health is certified by: Michigan Department of Community Health; Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan; Medicare/Medicaid; and The Joint Commission.
