Dr. Rany Aburashed, DO, board certified Neurologist, is designated as a Partner in Multiple Sclerosis Care - Neurological Care from the Michigan Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Dr. Aburashed, who is affectionately known by his patients, as “Dr. Rany,” is the first neurologist in Michigan to receive this designation (2014), which recognizes clinicians who have demonstrated their capability to provide optimal care and support to people with MS.
Through the efforts of the Memorial Neurological Institute and Center for Multiple Sclerosis, MS patients now have access to:

- mental health services
- occupational and physical therapy services
- speech and language pathology services
- current and new medical trials

Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson's Exercise Support Group
A low-impact exercise program specifically geared for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's Disease. Group meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. or from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. The cost is $35 per month. Each class is designed specifically for the functioning level of the participant.
