Are you still tired when you wake up?

Daytime fatigue or sleepiness after waking could be symptoms of a serious sleep disorder. Memorial Healthcare Center's Sleep Center can assist your physician in determining whether you suffer from a sleep disorder. Depression, Loud Snoring, Restlessness or Pain in the Legs are just some of the symptoms of a sleep disorder.

Different factors can contribute to lack of sleep - a noisy bedroom, stress or illness. When the problem persists, help should be sought. Experts with the Memorial Healthcare Sleep Center offer a wide range of options to turn around the problem of poor sleep.

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) recognizes a distinction between a sleep laboratory and accredited Sleep Disorder Centers, such as the Memorial Sleep Center. An accredited sleep disorder center is a comprehensive or full-service sleep disorder program that must be prepared to provide adequate evaluation and follow-up care of patients with a vareity of sleep disorders. In contrast, a sleep laboratory provides diagnostic services for sleep disorders but only offers follow-up for sleep-disordered breathing, such as Sleep Apnea.
