About Dr. Ashraf Elbanna, MD
Dr. Elbanna joins the world-class team of orthopedic specialists at Memorial Healthcare Center for Orthopedics in Owosso. Dr. Elbanna is fellowship trained by the Cleveland Clinic and has worked with national sports teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, University of Notre Dame, and Marygrove College.
“I treat all my patients with dignity and respect, as I would a member of my own family. My goal for my patients is to find a way to help alleviate their pain, improve their function, and improve quality of life.”
Orthopedic services are supported by the latest diagnostic imaging, CT-Scan, and MRI technology. Surgery is performed utilizing traditional and advanced, minimally invasive techniques. The credentials and experience of these surgeons allow Memorial to offer some of the most sophisticated medical procedures in the world.

Dr. Elbanna was great . He made my son feel comfortable and explained things to my son.
I gave a fair on explanations given for my condition, only because I felt I wasn't given solid explanations. I was told my issue just happens, and would fix its self eventually. Not something one wants to hear when in chronic pain everyday. Lol
I assumed he would be able to do my knee surgery at each visit, but the last visit he said I was too risky to do it. My complication was I was slightly overweight. I wished he would have told me a visit or two back that I was that risky, so I could contact another provider.
Everyone in the clinic is very nice and helpful.

The PA that came in first was very sweet and listened to everything I had to say. Dr. Elbanna was seriously the nicest specialist I have ever seen, I truly cannot say enough good things about him. I have seen so many specialists and doctors in the past including another specialist at memorial which I was very dissatisfied with. I was nervous to come back and see another specialist at memorial but I was 100% blown away by the kindness, understanding, care and knowledge of Dr. Elbanna. I came home and told everyone I saw how kind he was and how impressed I was by him. He answered all my silly questions, explained In detail my Issues and attentively listened to everything I had to say! I truly felt so cared for and important to him! I have never had an experience like that with another Doctor before, I am so pleased.
LOVE Dr. Elbanna! There are docs closer, but I gladly drive the hour to see him.
